Kendra Brown, PT | Dartmouth Clinic
Kendra, originally from Halifax NS, graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University after completing her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick.
Kendra believes in an individual, comprehensive approach to her treatment plans. Which include hands on manual therapy techniques, with supplementation via an active home exercise program, soft tissue release, ongoing education, functional dry
needling, and modalities as needed for pain, inflammation and muscle activation.
Her ultimate goal is to improve movement patterns, functional well-being and quality of life for her patients, while preventing further injury. Kendra has had the opportunity to work with diverse conditions and age groups within her clinical experience and has a special interest in orthopedics, sports related injuries, Concussion Management and more recently Women’s Pelvic Health. Kendra has successfully completed post-graduate training in The Physical Therapy Approach to Women’s Incontinence and The Physical Therapy Approach to Dyspareunia (painful intercourse) and is now accepting new patients.
In 2015, Kendra combined her love for yoga and travel, by completing her Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India and currently offers weekly group physiotherapy yoga classes out of our Dartmouth location.
When Kendra is not treating, you can find her living an active lifestyle in the gym, at a yoga studio, paddle boarding on the lake, or on her next travel adventure!
