Amanda Conrad, Reg. Acu Dartmouth Clinic
Amanda’s interest in health and wellness started with her own journey over ten years ago. Acupuncture and energetic medicine helped her discover the root cause of underlying issues that were impeding the achievement of her optimal health. It was in healing the whole body that she realized the key to a sustainable, healthy lifestyle is treating the whole system: body, mind, spirit.
In 2016, Amanda completed her 2 year program from The Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and received her diploma in Acupuncture. She has since been successfully treating a variety of ailments, spending much of her time focusing on women’s health. When she is not in the clinic, Amanda is out in nature with her dog, Grace, reading, learning or playing ice hockey. She continues to expand her knowledge in our ever advancing world of wellness.
Amanda’s goal is to teach our generation that Eastern and Western medicine work miracles together, not one without the other. While Western medicine is necessary, preventative medicine is the way of the future. Currently registered with CMAAC, her modalities include acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, electro-acpuncture, moxabustion and some dabbling in energy work. Amanda is continuously learning about new and exciting tools to use in her practice. She thrives on healing and educating and will continue to advocate a holistic lifestyle.
