Andrea Marcantonio, PT Dartmouth Clinic
(she/her) Andrea graduated in 2003 with her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from
Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Following graduation, she worked for two
years in the Ottawa area in a clinic whose treatment philosophy focused mainly on
correcting movement patterns and muscle imbalance in order to decrease pain and
restore function. She has adopted that style of practice ever since.
Andrea takes a very thorough but caring approach in her assessments and
treatments, in order to connect with her clients and find the root cause of their
symptoms. She takes the time to listen to them and understand how their function
has been affected by their discomfort. She enjoys working together with the client
to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals. She also has an interest in women’s pelvic health and has taken the Uro-Sante Female Urinary Incontinence course.
Andrea has taken post-graduate courses in Acupuncture, Movement Dysfunction,
Manual Therapy, and those focusing on exercise therapy.
In her spare time, Andrea enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
She enjoys Pilates, walking in nature, baking, and talking about recipes and food in
general.
