Jenny Slysz, PT Halifax Clinic
Jenny is a born and raised Islander and graduate of the University of Prince Edward Island in 2015 (BSc Honours in Kinesiology). She obtained her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of Western Ontario, where she stayed and practiced for a couple years, then took a slight detour to Chicago for a year, and now has made her way back home to the Maritimes!
She has a keen interest in orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation and employs various treatment techniques including soft tissue release, manual therapy (manual level 2 upper and lower), basic acupuncture (APTEI level 1), exercise prescription, and is passionate about educating her clients along the way so that they can confidently take the reins.
Jenny loves to meet people at their level, and work side by side to help them rise to their potential! She cares for each client as she would a friend and is always happy to lend an ear or share a laugh. With Jenny, you can expect individualized, patient-centred care, with a focus on the whole person.
Since welcoming her son in 2020, she has not had an abundance of free time! But when she finds some, she enjoys being out in nature, fiddling with woodworking, running, volleyball and exploring the neighbourhood and beyond with her family (pup included!).
