Jules Karlsen Dartmouth Clinic
(she/her) Jules is a personal trainer and Pilates/Yoga instructor inspiring others to live a healthy active lifestyle. She is dedicated to bringing awareness to how movement can make you both physically and mentally stronger. With a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology as well as a Pilates and Yoga background, she is able to integrate the styles of each to deliver a well rounded program for any individual at any activity level. Training should prepare you for your optimal life, whatever that may be, while taking into consideration how our lifestyle and environment impacts our well being.
Jules has experience training a wide variety of clients from the average individual to pre/post natal women, and from youth to seniors. All programs are individualized to specific needs focusing on a combination of strength training, conditioning, and mobility – this varies from client to client based on body types and goals.
Jules places a major emphasis on correct form with exercise pairing which will maximize your time working out and speeding up the result process while also keeping individual safety at the forefront. Our goal is to get you comfortable and confident with your workouts and learn skills that you will be able to adapt on your own.
It is recommended that clients train at least 2-3 times per week in order to stay motivated and maintain progress. Clients may also be given homework to complete on their own time to keep progression as well as build autonomy and accountability. No gym membership is required.
