Teresa Noye, RMT, DO(MP) | Dartmouth Clinic
Teresa has been a practicing massage therapist since her graduation from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2010. Graduating with honours and a specialization in neurological conditions, she has expanded her knowledge over the years to include extra specialization in deep tissue therapy, the basics of craniosacral therapy, guasha, and has recently completed her training for her diploma in manual osteopathy.
As a teenager, Teresa suffered from several repetitive strain injuries. After finding no relief from surgery or medicinal pain management, she turned to manual therapy and finally found the relief she sought. Inspired by that relief, she began to seek a way to pass the same results on to others. Teresa's treatments focus on finding the source of dysfunction, easing and eliminating pain, and working preventative measures into the scope of an individual's lifestyle.
From May 2013 until August 2015, Teresa served as a member on the board of directors for the Massage Therapists' and Holistic Practitioners' Association of the Maritimes, starting out as a Member at Large and eventually rising to President. Her focus was on the pursuit of legislation, as well as educating the public about massage and alternative healthcare.
Teresa started working with the team at Choice Chiropractic in 2012, and has watched the once small clinic expand into a successful multidisciplinary practice. Through her collaboration with the other practitioners at the clinic she has expanded her knowledge and treatment skills, and continues to learn more every day.
